Mr. Wiar is a partner of Shaw & Wiar whose practice focuses on advising, assisting, and defending healthcare professionals and entities in multiple aspects of their practice – whether clinical or commercial. Mr. Wiar is a Native Texan, born and raised in Arlington, Texas.
He is a former collegiate athlete and graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas. Mr. Wiar obtained his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law where he also graduated cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Wiar undertook additional study to obtain a special certification in the field of Healthcare Law and was bestowed the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Healthcare Law – given to the top student in each specialty.
Since the start of his career in 2020, Mr. Wiar has worked tirelessly in his defense of healthcare professionals. He takes great pride in being trusted with defending the livelihood of those who have dedicated their lives to the health and wellbeing of others. While still relatively early in his career, Mr. Wiar has had many successes across the State of Texas in both State and Federal Court.
